Message From Ryan Klesko

The Blue Ryno Foundation was created in 2005 while I was playing for the San Diego Padres Organization. I have been involved and contributed to many different foundations over my career, but have always wanted to be more personally involved in helping children that are battling a critical illness. I started the foundation so that I could help as many families as possible and help improve the lives of these brave children and families experiencing the grim reality of a cancer diagnosis. One of my main inspirations is my buddy Kyle Speer, who always thought of others and wanted to put a smile on their face while fighting Leukemia. I was also inspired by my sister Pam who worked for over 14 years as a nurse in the Oncology unit at Orange County Children’s Hospital. The Blue Ryno foundation is passionate about doing anything and everything possible to help these little angels.
